Kansas City Homes & Style has been telling the story of beautiful KC homes for decades. We're honored they chose Bent-Ward & Foster as a story worth following, beginning July 2026 through a full cover reveal in 2027, bringing this historic renovation to all of Greater KC.

For brand partners, it means ongoing visibility inside that coverage from day one, with additional promotional opportunities available within each issue.

This is Kansas City history in the making. We're glad Kansas City Homes & Style is helping us tell it.

Where History Meets What’s Next

The Bent-Ward & Foster House is a historic Kansas City landmark entering a new era of renovation and reinvention.

Originally tied to early Kansas City development and civic history, the home now undergoes a thoughtful, design-driven transformation that honors its architectural integrity while preparing it for modern living.

This ShowHouse is structured as both a preservation effort and a living platform for collaboration.

Build Team

This project is brought to life by a powerhouse local team, bringing trust, talent, and decades of experience.

Their leadership makes this project a draw for discerning homeowners, design lovers, and trade pros alike.

Design Direction

The vision centers on honoring original structure while elevating materials, systems, and detailing to meet modern performance expectations.

Interior concepts reflect a restrained, timeless aesthetic rooted in architectural integrity rather than trend.

The Bent-Ward & Foster House has stood in Sunset Hill since 1858. It's on the National Register of Historic Places. And right now, Homoly Design + Build and NSPJ Architects are bringing it fully back to life, with Kansas City Homes & Style telling the story.
